    Trouble has trashed her car

A couple of weeks ago Trouble was bemoaning the fact that someone had scratched her very expensive car.

Today she lost control on the A1 and trashed her car ending up in a ditch at the side of the A1.

She is fine apart from a very sore neck, back and shoulder.

The car, however is in a very bad way so she is now going to use mine until a courtesy car appears.

On a positive note you can hardly see the scratches she was moaning about previously, as the dents and missing body panels take your eye away from the scratches.

God bless her for being ok as we are both thanking the lord and Japanese build quality.

Any donations put behind the bar at Utopia for her to drown her sorrows.

May we thank everyone who has rung us to express their concerns.

Hi Trouble.. ...so sorry about your accident... I had an awful experience like yours on a few weeks back.. am so very grateful that we are both not in a far worse state.. I had a large trailer lorry squash me up against the roundabout trying to turn right...

Although my car spent 3 weeks in the garage being repaired.. (lost most of the passenger panels and wing mirror) I am truly grateful that I came away virtually unscathed... (not including hysterical tears at the time of course).. yeah.. neck and shoulders not too good either, but in the general scheme of things very, very lucky.

    Wishing you a speedy recovery.

    thanks very much

i can honestly say i have never been as frightened as i was today and honestly can not believe that i walked away from that crash without so much as a scratch. I think that i was being looked after today by something or somebody and now was not my time to go. I have found myself crying at the drop of a hat and it took approx 2 hours to stop crying after the accident. Weird how shock effects you isnt it. i have had a couple of glasses of wine and a nice home made curry just now so feeling much better a little stiff and grateful. I now will never poo hoo anybody that says they have suffered shock as i now know exactly what they are talking about.

Only you could walk away from rolling a car, off the motorway, in to a ditch, scratch free. you got the luck of the devil.

I was all 'strong sister who will sort everything out' on the phone. But I blubbed like a baby when I got off the phone to you. So did Dad.

Anyway, you are still with us...thats the main thing. Scare me like that again and I'll murder you myself.

Glad to hear you're ok. Cars are material objects and people are a lot harder to repair. After the news I've been reading about this week I'm glad someone has walked away from something like that relatively unscathed. Not all have been as lucky unfortunately

The things people will do to get some attention!!!

Very glad you came out of it okay . Take all the pampering you can get, especially the home made curry (there's not any left is there? I'm starving ). Keep checking for any pain once the initial stiffness has worn off - and get a medical check up. Oh, and get driving again as soon as possible - now I'll stop telling you what to do. Apart from... look after yourself.
