Another one for the Apple gurus out there
Every time I start up my Macbook I get a Stephen Hawking type voice telling me it's my Macbook and it's the logon screen. I don't have the voice over utility or any other universal access settings switched on but I have obviously switched something on, any ideas on how to stop it?
Cheers,
Paul
It's in "System Preferences" –> "Accounts" –> "Login Options"
You may need to authenticate to be able to see the login options page.

Open it up.. and pull out it's memory chips slowly and one at a time until it starts singing "Daisy Daisy" perhaps??
Whatever you do don't wire it up to your batchelor pad doors.
"Open the Pad doors..." ... "I'm sorry Paul, I can't do that"
"Why not?" .. "Because I'm just a Macbook and I haven't got any hands!"
Maybe it's developing some kind of inferiority complex?
