dance floor is simular to rugby. don't know who is djing .
the venue has a nice feel to it small than rugby
don't know if i'll get there yet as i don't drive but we'll see
Thinking about trying this. Anyone know who is likely to be DJ'ing? Is it likely to be worth the trip? (I have not been to this venue before)

My preference is Jive Nites in St. Neots.
Tunes ok, some nice dancers, nice crowd and the floor is fabulous!!!
AFAIK someone called Richard is DJing - his is a familiar face to people who attend Ceroc events in CC. He has been DJing a night at Cambridge for a while now and I really like his music. It is sometimes a bit hit and miss but, for me, that's a sign that he is experimenting and trying things. He's played tracks that I never thought would get aired at Cambridge and well deserves his freestyle chance.

Nice friendly venue, and when I am not away on weekends, my local Sunday haunt.

Thanks for the advice re. Kempston - I did go and had a pretty good time. There was a surprisingly large attendance - so much so that it did get rather crowded, but in spite of that I still had quite a few really good dances and everyone I encountered was very friendly.
The venue is fine IMO. Nice floor, just perhaps not quite large enough for a free-style. Music played was mostly OK. I could have done with a little more variation in the tempo (most of the time it was fast or very fast) and there were one or two less than welcome extended dance remixes for my taste but also quite a lot of tracks I really like.
