A close friend of mine from Ceroc Down Under (one day I'll find a way to make that the official company name...) will be moving to London on the 1st of April. I did wonder if that date was a portent of things to come, but I thought it'd be much safer for me if I didn't point that out
She's still looking for a place to stay when she arrives, and she'd be very grateful if anyone has any suggestions on where to find spare rooms, couches or living room floors for any length of time while she gets herself on her feet.
She is fully house trained, has a vibrant caring personality and if she asks I never once compared her to a puppy..... She's also a lovely dancer IMHO.
Regardless of what happens, we've sent another Kiwi to continue the proud tradition of talking up our fine country at every possible opportunity (did I mention NZ is great? It is - you should all come here) and do us proud on the dance floor. This time the guys get a chance to dance with one though. I don't count Trampy as a fully-fledged guy so he doesn't count
Seriously though, she doesn't know anyone there yet and although I have no doubt you'll all make her feel as welcome as you made me regardless of whether she's a friend of mine or not, it'd be nice to give her a bit of a head start and some contacts if I can.

Get her posting on the forum so she gets to know people and to let us know what venues she is going to.
Prob not best if I meet her, Will bore her to death asking questions about the Finn Brothers over there.

Tina is from Auckland - and while I haven't get got to meet her - she is an absolute sweetie on the phone and email and is working on signing up to the forum. - Thanks to Timply Link for giving her a lift to Twyford the other weekHope its going well back home!

I don't think I've met Tina as I'd only been dancing a few months before I moved to the UK, but she's reasonably well known in the Auckland Ceroc scene and I've heard Very Nice Things
That would be Vicky. I'm trying to get her to sign up on the forum so she can introduce herself.

The thing is, EVERYBODY is tame compared to that lot. They are officially the craziest crazies on the planet!

Anyway, I'd be quite happy to join in the welcome party, but I don't really go to any WCS events anymore so I'm unlikely to bump in to her for a while. But I hope Vicky has a great time in the sunnyUK and hope to meet her at some point

Hi all!
I just thought I'd let you know that there have been some last minute change of travel plans for Vicky and she'll be touring Europe for a while before landing in London now. I *think* this puts her arrival plans back around 6 weeks but I'm not 100% sure on that.
Sorry guys, but you're going to have to wait even longer now
On the plus side this may mean the holy balance of having one kiwi at WCS in Twickenham will continue. The other two New Zealanders are required back here at home to keep the fires burning. The sheep would get cold otherwise
