Where's livingstone? Whats the WCS workshop? Could I manage it? Anyone want to share transport possibly???
Right, so nobody's allowed to discuss dance events outside London on Lory's 'What's on this weekend' thread, as it upsets DJ. Or even mention anything that might be on on Saturday night, because Lory already knows, and anyone mentioning what's on Saturday night in London will upset DJ even more.
So, here's a thread where you can all discuss what's on this weekend, no matter where in the country it is, or even what day of the weekend it is. Even if it's events in London.
Anyway, in Dundee we've got a party in Bonar Hall (and I'm expecting all my favourite dancers to be there, or I'll cry), and on Sunday I think I'll go to a west coast swing workshop in Livingstone, if there's still spaces left, and if I can get a lift.
Of course in (or actually outside) London there's the Funky Lush charity do (but I won't mention that, 'cus it's apparently got it's own thread, and if I mention it again DJ will get upset), and a WCS freestyle.
So, who's going where?
PS - couldn't be bothered to start a poll, as I've no idea what's on this weekend apart from these things!

Theres an Edinburgh monthly Ceroc party in Marcos on Saturday too - maybe some of your favourite dancers will be there?
Heather
Hi!
The workshop is held at the Deer Park Golf and Country club, Golf Course Rd, Livingston - just off junction 3 of the M8.
You can get more info at: Classes at West Coast Swing Scotland

Oh b*gger! I didn't realise that the two parties were clashing! That means there's hardly going to be any good dancers at the Dundee party (at least none of the Edinburgh crowd).
But there's no way I'll trek all the way to Edinburgh when I've got a party in walking distance from my own flat. And I've paid for it already, too.
This favourite dancer will be in Dundee for a workshop on Saturday afternoon, then at the Bonar Hall in the evening.
There's also a busk in Perth on Saturday afternoon which I hear some of my favourite dancers will be at.

Tonight it's Cinderella night at Halesowen. Not been to a Cinders night there before but am really looking forward to it. Favourite teacher and then dancing until 1am with my favourite people
There's a freestyle at Burton town hall on Saturday for those of you higher up the country that are not travelling down to Daventry. I will be supporting my man and cheering on his last weekend shift. From then on Saturdays are ours all ours
Sunday we will be joining Fletch and her adorable children at Bromsgrove tea dance. May even be taking my daughter too. Have even got the cakes all ready to take. Is that organised or just far too excitable
I really shouldn't look at these threads.
I'm going to an AGM. Woohoo.
I am dancing next weekend - NI workshops and party, but better not mention that or I'll be off topic.
Twyford is on this Saturday.
SpinDr
P.S. Of course it'll help if you can salsa
