Personally I can't understand why they didn't tell him/the organisers before now, what's the point of organising concerts only to be told (allegedly) at the last minute, that he can't have a visa and get in to the country.

So I guess the question is, why the devil did he get a work permit, but no visa? What's the point? Isn't it clearly a massive ****-up where you can have one but not the other?
So why waste time doing a work permit if there's no visa? Is that really how the system works?

Ah but she's a resident who pays taxes (at least some even if it's not all she should 'cos no doubt she has a good accountant). And she employs a goodly number of people to look after her kids (and Guy who's still sulking 'cos we weren't stupid enough to like Revolver) - so that's got to count for something
