I saw sketch on TV many years ago (am sure someone else will have seen it and enlighten me as to where it came from), and someone wished for just that. They found themselves alone in the world as that was the only way it could be achieved.

I used to like "wisdom" but look what happened to Solomon. I figure the answer is simply "Thy will be done" and trust in your Deity or "Whatever's best" for atheists.

I figure you get to try and make your wish come true by the way you live your life. I'd be very happy with the painless cure for cancer
