Female ticket for UTOPIA on Fri 13 April 2007 required

I found out last night that my children are going skiing with their father for a week from Easter Saturday which would allow me to make the 3 hour journey to Twickenham on Friday 13th April to attend my first UTOPIA, which I have been dying to do. However, I spoke to Val this morning and I gather there are no female tickets left. Consequently, if anyone has a spare female ticket for UTOPIA on 13th April 2007, please can they PM me and I will buy it off you as I would love to go and it is not very often that circumstances will allow me to be able to attend.

    Many thanks

    Rachel

I can definitely run to £2.50 and half a curly wurly but £200 is outside my budget!

    HI Sapphire

I believe all bookings and payments are automated now, so there's no actual paper tickets.

Guests have their Ceroc card swiped on entry, (the card number is linked to the booking) so I'm not sure how the ticket would be transferred, unless it's done through the official channels?

I'm not 100% sure about this but I'd hate you to make a 3hour journey, just to be told that the ticket isn't booked under your name, therefore invalid!

Sorry, I don't mean to put a 'downer' on the idea but I think its best to check with Val, Rocky or SF first, as I know they have a waiting list

Good luck, I hope you get one, it's worth it!

When I spoke to Val this morning, I said that I would post on the forum to see if I could get a ticket because I asked her if she had a waiting list and she explained that the one of the reasons for automating the ticket system and asking for payment up front rather than reserving a ticket and paying later was to take away these admin hassles from her. She told me that if I found a ticket, I should contact her and she would change the names on the spreadsheet so that my name would appear when my Ceroc card was swiped. Basically, I drew from the conversation that if you had bought a ticket and then could not use it, the onus was on the punter to find someone to take the ticket off their hands and then to clear the change of name with Val. However, as I am new to UTOPIA, I may have misunderstood, so please let me know if I have got this wrong.

Oh, dear. Have I got my diary all wrong? I thought Utopia Twickenham was the first Friday of the month (Evesham the 2nd Friday), so I have it down in my diary as Friday 6th April.

Just checked the website, and it says the 2nd Friday of every month. Guess I'll have to change my diary. Feel embarrassed now.

Nah. I just dragged it down to the next Friday on my Palm desktop. And the good news is it makes for a great dancing weekend with Utopia on Friday and FunkyLush Hatfield on Saturday.
