Ah, just stick it on the plate!! Once those artificial flavours and fragrances together with the monosodium glutamate hit the little darlings' nostrils, they'll be doomed! Do 'em good. While your at it, make them lick the kitchen surface clean without a droplet of Cillit bang! being sprayed - that'll knock the allergies on the head.

"No. But I recall being a child once."
Nah, I was raised as a boy, in a military environment, so that really wasn't an option. Besides, when I was seven, a "party bag" was a piece of cake wrapped in a napkin, and my sisters weren't allowed cosmetics until they were at least 12, so the question is kinda moot.
Having had 3 daughters I found there was no problem mixing the sexes for an age 7 party. That happens a little later - and some time after that the mixing of the sexes is essential!
However, giving different party bags based on sex is just good sense. From an early age they want different things, why fight it and why put yourself through the stress of trying to think of presents suitable for both sexes?
In my experience 7 year olds like the parties at McDonalds. They take an hour at the most, a McDonalds employee does the entertaining, including a tour of the kitchens, they're cheap, there's no washing up - and you're in the shops and can go shopping for shoes
Oh my God...just over a day and a bit to go until....The Party!
Still not been food shopping yet and am a 12 hour shift tomorrow...will hotdogs and lashings of tomato sauce be ok do ya reckon???
Pink cake, pink sweeties, pink balloons and table confetti , pink wellies all at the ready...BUT no food and no party bags sorted yet..is there any point in going on or shall I just end it all now?
