Not just approaching, but a decent amount more than an F1 car Personally I don't think the car had much to do with it - I'll wager said pillock would have been able to have the same crash in a £6k Impreza or Evo. The Veyron, in fact, would have far more safety nets in terms of stability and traction control than your average car. It's the engineering brilliance that created the Veyron that pushes the boundaries of road car development. If we were to ban the Veyron then we should have banned the McLaren F1 and let's not even get started on superbikes
