I saw the same forumite giving his time to help someone else with some basics over the weekend so I am not trying to say this is typical behaviour but the person I know was understandably very miffed by this and it doesn't help in terms of widening the pool of WCS dancers across the country.
That makes me really mad. REALLY REALLY mad.

WCS, from what I can see, has the ability to interest a lot of people from all corners of the UK. At present it has a very very small band of loyal followers. If, as you say, this kind of behaviour continues then this small band of warriors will continue to be that - small.
There were a good number of people who stayed around asking us lots of questions over the weekend. That interest is paramount and to have people acting anything other than increadibly approachable and open is unbelievable and will simply eliminate any interest.

Whoever said that must have their reasons but it really upsets me.

The beauty of Ceroc, for me, is the social side of it and lets be honest - thats how it has got as big as it is now. If behaviour like the one you mentioned continues then WCS will not be able to take that same route and will ultimately suffer.

I've mentioned it before, but I'll add again, the WCS dancers I encountered last weekend were all friendly, approachable, and patient!

Coming from a barren WCS desert corner of the UK, this was appreciated.

    Ohh,

Two of the funniest things this weekend. Central Alex's Coat dance and CJ's Kilt flash to a class friday eve.

Jester, are you the one who did the spin, in the middle of the handbag dancing?

Re: Storm March 07, the aftermath

    Hmmm, here at last.

Hmmm, I decided to register so I could see the photos and I have access from work at the moment. Access will be a little erratic just like my dancing. I do feel like I'm missing out on your great communitity. I have yet to work out who you all are though?

Name was natural enough although I had some other ideas. I'm wondering what you knew me by now?

    My highlights for Storm.

1 Playing tag, double trouble and double trouble tag in the main room.
    2 Friends
3 Stealing Marcs dance in the blues room
    4 The blues room
5 Memory is still blurred but the whole thing was amazing.

    My low points.
1 I hope to get away with that!! but I don't think I'm going to.
2 There was a west coast room?
3 I didn't get to the budoiur either

    That's all for now
