In them olden days, there was no 'commercial tag' but when they were introduced (over a year ago) you would have qualified had you not already been a 'Ceroc DJ'.
Not sure why you think it's a big deal, after all, you have advertised your commercial status often enough on this forum!
Franck.
There's an A.P.P. for that!
Sorry, was just posting a (too subtle) reference to that post on the Porn thread
Franck.
There's an A.P.P. for that!
Good grief...
At the moment, the situation is that there are a lot of people called "commercial operator", the discussion is whether this label could be refined to improve things.
So do you have any constructive suggestions to make any changes, in general?
Coz I'm monumentally uninterested in the history of individuals' label changes.
I'm pretty uninterested in most of what you have to say most of the time....I made a reference to something, Franck responded, I responded to that etc etc etc......I don't really care what my status is......maybe "painter & decorator" would suit....I was of the belief that this was a chat forum. sorry if my chat does not interest you.
Fair point about the olden days...........but I don't advertise my commercial status any more than any one else does, or any more than I've posted to support Ceroc events.....And I don't think it's a big deal,..was just joining in the banter,...i don't really care what my status is...it's not a life or death kinda thing....commercial operator is fine by me.

Could you enumerate all the possible combinations of "refined" tags? Remember there are DJs, Teachers, Franchisees, and general event organisers, but some people take on more than one of these roles...
Now tell me that "Independent MJ Teacher and DJ" doesn't sound more like an advert than a simple informative tag.

I quite like the idea of a "Chewin' the fat" style "Good Guy" or "Wank" label. Or at least I would if I thought I was going to get the former.
Just swap the word smooth for commercial?
Why do you all want labels anyway, is anybody interested, is it to suit your egos or something?
If you absolutely MUST have labels how about:

I'm sure you can all think of something equally fitting but my suggested label would be Ceroc dancer that way the forum may revert to a Ceroc dance related discussion forum (dance, music, style, technique etc.) instead of its present anything goes form.
i do think "ceroc franchisee" or "independant owner" etc is a good idea but then again with mine you cant really miss what i am (and proud of it )
