The only 'Ten' that I know of feature in the brilliant Lords of discipline by Pat Conroy which was made into a movie - very good, but not quite as outstanding as the book.
Well Fletch I reckon I can say you are one of the 10 nicest people I know.
Does that help?
It's no good - I've tried to resist, but it's no use, I have to get my Wikipedia fix... there's a link here
Ahhh, that feels better.
Can't be anyone from Norfolk. Everyone knows they have 12 of everything that they should have 10 of.
Aree there any similarities between The Ten and The Magnificent Seven?
They (the Venice ones) were actually called "The Ten" - basically, they were the original secret society, no-one knew who they were, but they ruled the city, doing all the sort of dubious things you'd expect; spying, assassination, rabble-rousing, etc.
It worked quite well, actually, for several hundred years at least.
The more I think about it, the more I reckon Fletch is one of the Ten. It all makes sense...
Fletch is one of the nice people...She's Gotta be!
So if Fletch is one of "The Ten" Who are the other 9?
So what is "the ten" supposed to be?
Didn't UB40 do a song about the ten?
"One in Ten"
