True.. but I'd rather express myself with my own words and sentiment. Don't get me wrong, I do buy cards and send them but what I was trying to say to DT was it's not worth getting bothered over not getting one. in the end it's just a piece of cardboard.
I am a die hard romantic.. I do do the whole 365 day of the year romance thing and not just on Valentines day. I'd rather receive a hand written letter with words from my partners heart than some inane verse written by anonymous committee in some card company.
and apologies for going on about things.. I don't realise I'm doing it..
I saw cards today that said
Happy Valentines Day Son
and similar for Mother, Father and Daughter
Would you ever send a valentine card to a sibling or parent (unless you're Oedipus/Guy Secretan??)
I love Valentines Day personally. I am single mosto f the time through choice, so Valentines is a bit depressing on that count, but I think its a time for showing my friends I care for them and for doing silly things for some ladies. Just a nice bit of fun.
(though a hug and a cuddle wouldn't go amiss )
Love dance, will travel
One day in February isn’t special. But you are.
