    Twickenham on a monday night

Mrs Par and I took a drive to Twickenham last night. We had MinnieM as company and we went to the Ceroc night at York House.

We have usually attended Jango if we had a free Monday evening but that not being on we decided to take a plunge into Ceroc.

I had a really pleasant suprise with this event.

Very friendly welcome by the door staff.

beautiful hall with great dancefloor, really nice to dance on.

    great aircon

very well attended class and only 5 women over.

class by Val and demo Rocky was challenging enough. you have see the "psycho" move

quite a few forum people there too.

Mrs Par and MinnieM had loads of dances and many rather good ones too.

I had a great night of dancing too.

Music was upbeat with a bluesy feel and very danceable

    No smoking noticed

    Downsides...

    Silver Fox was there

Parking was difficult although we found a beautiful spot down by the river a short walk away.

Although drinks were on sale at desk Mrs Par missed her Bacardi and coke

not related to ceroc but we were taken around a 30 mile diversion on the way home due road works

Overall would highly recommend a visit to Twickenham on a Monday

I really enjoyed the music, the floor was beautiful & I had some lovely dances (including a memorable one with Mr Fox )

    I'll definitely go back.

I was going to post a question asking what all the Monday night Jango attendees now do on a Monday instead.

What about everyone else who went to Jango. What do you do now?

I had a great night there too

It was the first time I had been to Twickenham and found the atmosphere great.

I realised again how exhausting ceroc can be after not sitting down for 2 hours.

Also learned a lot from Asif about the differences between lindy hop and WCS
