I know, but I'm not prepared to vote either way until I know what I'd be stripping off for.

Quite - which is why I've started another thread for that. Need to separate out all the cr@p! to see what we've actually got.

The Forum is on tenterhooks to see what your final decision is.

Re: Models for forum charity calendar

Well I have voted yes but it's easy I am far away so it's probably not going to happen.
Same for organising the whole thing, I would volunteer if I were there - may be if it doesn't happen this year at least we can start thinking about next.

May be we could also do pictures for a different format than a calendar - calendar's a good idea but the trouble is, many other people have the same idea at the same time, and the time constraint is obvious.
So if we are clear about what we expect from this (i.e. realistic objectives in terms of raising money) may be we could look for a different format. May be only pictures if there're really good? I know I'm always looking for good dancing pictures and I'm sure I am not the only one on the forum.
Plus there's also the argument of charity if you're not that keen on the pictures.

Last thing I want to say, I believe the quality of the photographer is paramount, I have seen through this forum pictures from ESG and I think there's some real potential to do something very nice and looking pro (not that I am in anyaway qualified to judge that, simply as a 'somebody who likes beautiful dance pictures' punter).
And it also looks like Beo and Twirly are pretty sharp too (have never seenany of their pictures so I can't say).

And we don't need to remove clothes if we don't want to, we can make interesting pictures anyhow.

I'm happy to pose, but I don't do nude or even semi nude. Keeping my clothes on thankyou very much.

Quite. Have PMed you so you can have a look at the snapshots I've got on here. Nothing spectacular though. It doesn't look as though ESG is willing to get involved, so we'll just have to do without him.

At this stage, we need to see who is available. I would suggest that we then look at the comfort of each model and what they are prepared to do or not. See what we have to work with, then take it from there.

Re: Models for forum charity calendar

Well ESG doesn't want to get involved which is a shame as I'm a big fan of his style but if that's how it is then that's how it is.

Secondly we don't "need" to be naked. If you see the naked shoulders and or back of a couple dancing you will assume them to be naked even though they might not be.

I htink we're getting too hung up on the nudity here.. We're looking for a range of classy and sexy pictures of couples having fun. it's to be tongue in cheek and for a laugh isn't it? I don't think we have enough practically perfect plastic pumped people here to make it into a playbo style calendar.

And anyway, some clothes (and I've seen the stuff that some people wear dancing) can be sexier than no clothes. Sometimes less is more.

Seeing as you've made it clear that you have no interest in getting involved in this project, why don't you just butt out?

Well, I voted yes*. If only to prove ESG wrong about the number of volunteers!

*I'm aware that if I'm in it, there will be less sales. So please feel free to use the other people

Not even sure the emphasis has to be on 'sexy' - there are enough calenders like that around already. To be honest I'd prefer a calender filled with really great dance pictures - albeit possibly more adventurous clothing than most of us will brave on the dance floor. But emphasis on the dance side of things, please.
