I remember a jango workshop in Aberdeen when Amir wanted to demonstrate something with a lead and he said something like: "I need a lead to demonstrate something...(nobody moved)...(turned towards KT)... ok give me a freak that will do" I don't think everbody realised straight away why he said that

The best site I've seen for this sort of thing:

    http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts

The science section is my favourite

I think he was looking for a strong man initially but settled on a "Freak". It was nice to have "oh you're that Freak" for the rest of the day (I didn't mind really, I wouldn't wear it if it bothered me).

Anyway on the pre-produced ones I made a list for my folks as they wanted to buy me a T-shirt (not that they bought one from it anyway)... it can be found on my non-dancing blog umm here and here if you are interested in seeing the T-shirts I found fab. I loved my late addition of Jesus saying "Don't be a dick", I'm going to buy a few of them at some stage soon.

I also saw a T-shirt that said "I like this T-shirt (it's my favourite)". Unfortunately it was only in bright red and therefore wasn't my favourite so I didn't buy it.

I'm tempted to wear a t-shirt with "GAY" in large letters to see what reaction i get

"Yes. I'm in a very good mood, thanks" in answer to any questions

Ooh a couple of new ones have been added...

I think the Pluto one is fab and the Johnny one is clever.

Where did you see it? I know someone who would probably like this very much...

Is it mildly entertaining? I'm not reading it unless it's at least mildly entertaining.

I was tempted to put my (not very entertaining really) blog but I resisted. I think the T-shirts are entertaining but the words written around them are probably pretty dull.

Post modernist one seen in Southampton shop window:

    "This T-shirt has no slogan."

There was a fab site I found a while ago where you could put in your own slogan and have it translated into various kinds of lettering. Soo cool.

My favourite was "if you can read this you're too close" on a girl's Tshirt.

    In Braille

There's one in a shop in Cov Garden (forget the name) which has a big arrow pointing left (or maybe right) and the slogan 'He's Gay'. Didn't have the nerve to buy it (More accurately, I wouldn't have the nerve to wear it)

    JESUS LOVES YOU!

Everyone else thinks you're a wanker

But again, I didn't buy it either, as I also wouldn't have the nerve to wear it.

    Re: T-shirt slogans.

Used to have a t-shirt with a picture of an angel and "WHO ME?" on it - not quite sure where it went

Also, not quite slogan related but....

I once saw a t-shirt out clubbing at Gatecrasher which had a LED heartbeat trace

Never seen it since (despite several google attempts ) - would LOVE to get hold of one...

Seen on the back of a truck in Kensington

    "est. 1970"

I thought that would be appropriate for me

Email Stephen Briggs (sbriggs@cix.compulink.co.uk) and ask him - he was planning on doing some a while ago. Alternatively email Terry's agent Colin Smythe (CPSmythe@aol.com) or via his website http://www.colin-smythe.com/
for permission to make one for personal use.

Terry Pratchett once described the usenet group alt.fan.pratchett as having the attention span of a butterfly on cocaine. Warwick had this made into a T shirt. The front said 'the attention span of a butterfly on coc...',
    the back said ...oh, shiny!

This went down very well at the last convention we attended.
