I think we're in danger of straying into the useability vs functionality debate here...

You can get Day of the Tentacle for PDA? Why do I miss these things.. (Checks games list.. Sudoku ,Bejewelled 2, Monopoly, Chess, Another chess, Scrabble, Warfare Incorporated (very cool), Worms and Yahtzee )

Not to mention my Z-code interpreter for playing all the old Infocom Text Adventures (Hitchhikers Guide, Zork I,II and III etc)

But Day of the Tentacle? Aw man.. I loved that game! tell me... do they do Sam and Max too?

Yep. Got Sam & Max on there also. Haven't really played it, bar the opening (which was hysterically funny) - I'll try it when I've finished DOT - which is, hands down, the funniest game I've ever played.

You can actually get most of the old Lucasarts games running on just about anything now - there's a port of the ScummVM emulator on just about every platform known to man. The one I'm running is the Palm version.

Thanks have just downloaded ScummVM and beneath a Steel sky. I thought it was an official port for PDA which means i now need to track down my old Day of the tentacle disks .. somewhere.

But Loom! Simon the Sorcerer 1 & 2 and a possibility of Curse of Enchantia and Kindgom o' magic too (Still have that one somewhere too) Have I died and gone to PDA game heaven?

I got Curse of monkey island for my SPV. you can run any of the old games on there as it is a mini pc.

The other thing you can do with it is remote desktop a PC. Lets see apple do that one.

Now that is an interesting one. Should have a look at that.

I hate remoting into any other computer on my 12" laptop due to resolution. Thinking you do that with your PDA makes me shiver in agony. But to be totally blunt, you can even from your Windows PDA remote into a Mac and do quite a lot of things ... SSH is your friend. Hence I am sure the iPhone will be well capable of doing that, too.
