Tonight I danced myself into trouble and invented a move to get back out!!! First time that's happened to me - linking stuff up by myself that quickly I mean, I'm always dancing myself into trouble
(I also had a few beautiful dances )

I had a fab night at northampton last night - venue was great, the people were great. It was busy, but not too busy that there wasn't space to dance. It was my first proper night of dancing since ICE on 1st, so that probably helped, as i had missed dancing. That combined with now being somewhat less stressed - all good.
Can't wait till the weekend now - freestyles!!
I don't mind you talking about the same venue, after all you will proberbly get me talking about the same ones,
for most of us when we started dancing we couldn't belive how FAB it was and raved on about it to our freinds, the danger is 'teaching your granny to suck eggs' i'm sure I can say we are all please you are so excited about you new discovery. There is a world out side Stafford I hope you get chance to to find out
Had a fab night as always at Salomans last night. Great teacher, great DJ and some amazing dances - knackered this morning now though!
So tell all Fletch, where are these dancing hot spots that aren't full of dancing hot shots?
I wouldn't dream of trying to teach you to suck anything babe and I certainly wouldn't call you a 'granny' Fletch... although Granny Fletch does have a certain cosy agony aunt ring to it don't you think?the danger is 'teaching your granny to suck eggs'
I went along to the freestyle in Dundee last night, and had a great time, with some lovely dances to some great music by Tiggerbabe
so you Do have a sence of humor
I think i will be a while before 'granny Fletch' is used Maddy has just had her 13 birthday but at alsmost 45 i'm in the right age bracket.....you cheeky bleep bleep!
personally and I might be wrong but 'hot shot' seems to be people that only want good dances, at what ever leavel you are currently at 'cliquey' seems to me comes from lack of confidence and feeling secure in you group and happy just to stop with that group.
I have said before there are cliquey groups and 'hot shots' every where, the one I used to sit with in Wolverhampton. and who I believe some still dance at Stafford, comments to me in the past have been 'so aren't we good enough to sit with any more' a bit of a control thing? know your place?
Just ask BARMPOT about 'hotshots' in the Midlands
'hot shots' want good dances at there own leavel or one or two leavels above
'cliquey' just a group of people that know each other
you will get the above everywhere.....it is in the eye of the beholder
But IMO Daventry is the best free style, followed by Ealing
Now, now, Fletch, you're verging on being non-positive there... :wagging finger icon:
I had a great night last night at Ashtons - good old-fashioned bopping around, it makes a change occasionally from all this intense Tango stuff.
I had a fab night last night and I didn't dance a single step.
So last night I danced with the best MJ follower in the world. And I should get to dance with her again tommorrow, Friday, and Sunday. However, this failed to amaze me as I'm now quite used to her unknowing brilliance.
Tuesday was good fun, good music and nice moves.
Last night was fun if not a little cramped at times. So many ladies and not enough time. Am not sure how big a ratio other venues have being fairly new to ceroc. 18 ladies to move round at one point think thats as busy as i've seen the place so far. Still all good fun even if i felt i was dragging my feet a little...
(the wheel is turning yet the hamster lies still)
