    Bognor - help please.

I am there with friends and we have full chalets. Was speaking to someone over the weekend who would like to go.

Anybody looking for someone to fill up a chalet, or of someone else who's looking?

Its amazing how bias the forum is

Bognor hardly gets a mention and is in 2 weeks time ? cf Southport 3 weeks time

Similar size etc format just less free water I guess

    Who is Bognor anyway ?

"Bognor" is organised by JimeTime, the same guy/people who do the original Camber event. The Camber events have lots of free water.

I can't think how "the forum" could be "biased" towards Southport over Bognor. "The forum" doesn't act as a coherent entity.

But perhaps Southport is simply more popular amongst active forumites than Bognor.

I remember when I first joined everyone raved about Camber (Jivetime events). I wasn't able to go and was feeling left out (and someone PMed me and pointed out that Southport was an easy journey from NI, which it is!). Its all about trends, what's popular now. We're a fickle lot on here I guess.

And maybe there's a reason for this.

Jivetime holidays now appear to be targeting a different client base, with the emphasis being on 'all round entertainment' and not so much on the serious business of dancing.

Whereas the JiveAddiction crew openly read the forum and react to the feedback given on here, to try and provide what the more seriously addicted (forum) dancers require.

Good point. The JiveAddiction team seem to be the best at listening to and acting on feedback.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Did I miss Paul Daniels' shows, or the coach excursions to Chichester Cathedral?

Finally, could I ask people (moderators, maybe) to take this Bognor v Southport discussion elsewhere so I will be able to tell when anyone answers my original plea for help?

    Ta very much!
