    hammersmith blues room the after's

Even though I was very tired what a great night and good set Sheena played in the blues room

Stayed upstairs for the first three or four dances before Phil and Alex did there showcase (superb as always)
Got kicked and elbowed so thought time to go ……

Wandered downstairs to the blues room and ended up staying the night,

Great mix of music very lyrical and superb dancers to boot ..

Thank you for all the fab dances specially to Lynda , George , Lisa and co

    LOL simon

Clearly its going to be a great success and another great innovation by ceroc

Lets hope whether you stay for one dance or 50% of the time or all night in the blues room its just see as a added benefit for Hammersmith.

I personally love being able to do a 50/50 split

The blues room was fab. I had a few dances in the main room but spent most of the time in the blues room. Sheenas set as always was amazing, i missed dancing to so many good songs because they were all good!

I will def be back at hammersmith for the blues room

I spent about 70% of my time upstairs and 30% downstairs. I love Sheenas sets and every time i visited the blues room the music was superb. I just don't get the right vibe from the room itself. I don't know why. It could be because it's too small and too crowded, I can't relax into the music if i'm constantly worried about being kicked and bumped. Personally i would like the main room as the blues one and the downstairs as the pop room.

I found the floor craft in the downstairs room much better than upstirs i also felt there was less ego boasting ( is that a real phrase).

As someone who usually avoids blues rooms like the plague, I amazingly spent about 70% of my time in there!

Fantastic music (thank you Sheena) and fantastic dances.

    All round top stuff!!

After having a long break from dancing I realised I hadn't been to Hammersmith for a good 3-4 years........I'll now be back!

Don't know how serious or not you are with this Cruella but I definitely prefer a smaller room for the slower music. Daventry at Xmas was my least enjoyable one of the year, principally because of the lack of the 2nd room. Yes, Marc and co were still DJing in the cavernous main hall but it wasn't the same. The intimacy isn't there.
