Only way to change your weight permanently is to change your lifestyle permanently. Weight control is NOT difficult - we all know how it works, we're just not always good at telling ourselves 'no'.
I lost 13lbs last year with out a huge effort (seen other threads !)
Pasta chicken dancing etc
Felt better, looked better ,health better
So of course ive put it all back on
So once again im going to do it again with the help of Work who do the fat club (their words) 8 week competition. Prizes for those that lose the greatest percentage of their weight, loads take part.
Why do we do this yo yo stuff ?
Life style that’s what its about ,I didn’t follow up on that
Anyone kept of the weight they lost last year ?

I lost 3 stone with weight watcher, 5 years ago (having 3 kids in 5 years did me up like a kipper) I've put a stone back on in recent months but am determined to get that off before Southport.
In fact...I've booked myself in to a step aerobics class for Monday morning.
Whether I'll get there or not is another matter.
I was a bit of a bloater about 18 months ago, but I started dancing, changed the way I eat (not what I eat, I still eat lots of stuff that's bad for you) and I NEVER weighed myself once.
No idea how much weight I lost, I monitored the size that I lost. A much more reliable indicator of success.
In about 6 months I lost 4 inches off my waist and I've stayed about the same ever since.
I managed to do the impossible i lost 6.5 lbs over christmas!! From 15 dec til 3rd jan - haven't got weighed since - but really proud of myself!!!
Yay me!!!
I lost some weight last year. Put some of it back on. About to start the push to lose some more now.
Once I get rid of all the bad things that I have in the house left over from Christmas!
