I've actually made it onto one of Alec's photos from the night (20061229_0138.jpg), standing behind the two French maids in question. I may look bemused, but my excuse is that I'd only just arrived and was getting adjusted to the place, looking for somewhere to leave a bag and change shoes....

Though missing out on the French maids, I did enjoy some excellent dances and was pleased to see - apart from many Forumites - a number of really good dancers I hadn't met before.

I had a wicked night at Daventry One of the best I've been to, although I was extremely sore and ached from Ashtons still.

Great dances & fab music - what more could a girl want

It was definitely worth the trip from Exeter...I had dances with all my faves that I only ever see at weekenders , although on occasions I noticed the ladies 3 deep along the side waiting for the same person, so I changed direction! There was a great atmosphere and I was able to meet lots of new people. I thought the cabaret was good, Emma and friends looked fab but the class afterwards was a little ambitious, but hey, they'll know next time.

Thanks for the great dances everyone, I had a brilliant time.

    You did?

I think that I only met one person from Manchester at Daventry, but I knew her before....

So now, I'm confused. Which was easy to do!
