Which it wouldnt if HTML code is switched off. Found this convertor for bbcode but it doesn't like embed tags, which is no great surprise, may be useful for other people though.

well it suddenly said HTML was on...did somneone change it or is it thread specific (id tried it elsewhere and it didnt work, so i tried the html tags here...plain html works though....
if anyone tries this - it seems to take up to 20 seconds to come through

you mangled your HTML just past it AS IS from the widget box on meebo. For anyone else reading this who has no clue what we're on about - meebo.com is a chat web page that covers google talk, icq, aim, msm and yahoo all from one web page. You can create a logon so you can have all of those chat options from one place and have one password to cover them all. You can also then download a widget and place it on any web page to allow people to start a personal chat to you from that page. Would quickly become a pain if 20 people all do it at the same time but you can easily disable the widget from your meebo settings. s'cool
