Considering health and safety, pointless polls are a much safer option than pointy ones anyway.
For some reason, this one reminds me of the purported English lesson, where the teacher was explaining the grammar behind the use of the double negative to indicate a positive. He went on to add that it wasn't actually possible, however, to use a double positive to indicate a negative.
