we belived that if a man had a long sleaved shirt on he was more open for a relationship, that doesn't rule out the ones the didn't but more often the ones with long sleaved were less set in there ways etc.

    that was only our opinion

Interesting... What do you mean by "open for a relationship"?

And where'd you get that theory from, observation or what?

Not just a one off sh&g

They seem more inclined to ask you to dinner or to meat out side of dancing, flicks or something.

We didn't debate the 'tuck in or out' theory though might do that one in 2007

Interesting opinion. Thanks for telling me, I'm sure you won't get falmes... ok maybe a little scorched. I wear short sleeve shirts because I prefer shirts to t-shirts for danceing, but dancing makes me hot. I wonder how many more guys are slipping beneath the Fletch-o-Meter with this 'comfort over style' faux pas

I quite often go through 3-4 shirts a night. It's a nightmare if you have to think about fashion aswell.

Ah, right - this is on the general theory of a man who treats his clothes well, will treat his women well?

Don't tell me women still fall for that one...

OK, can any of you ladies explain *why* shirts 4, 10 and 11 are so good.

    *why*
I think they are classic examples of a very clean crisp look with a casual nuance.

In terms of a more formal look, I also liked 5 and 6 - . Maybe I am just a white shirt tart though

As for what you should look for:
    • Whitness!
    • Quality of texture - pilling will not do at all
    • Fit - and that can only be teated on the body that is going to wear it - oh no - you will have to try it on ......
    • Decide casual or formal
    • Collar shape - I only know when its wrong not when its right though

Does that help at all ?

    Re: The White Shirt.

One thing that's not been mentioned here, which is vital for me, is the tactile quality of the white shirt (though difficult to get across in a picture admittedly!). There is nothing like sweeping your hand across the man's back whilst dancing for it to be met by cool, crisp but silky feeling cotton, (the higher the thread count the better)...

Could be the most stylish shirt possible, but if it's nylon or poly-cotton...

    Give me sensuality any day

Cool, crisp, silky cotton. While dancing? I must be doing something wrong then 'cos I'm fairly sure that mine'll be warm and damp quite quickly!
