To mark the last delivery of 100 aircraft, maintenance workers at Turkish Airlines clubbed together to buy a camel - and then consume it. The sacrifice took place at Istanbul international airport.

Judging from the article, I'd say that the objection was not to the consumption of the camel, but more to the act of ritually sacrificing it at their workplace. If they'd only gone down the drive-thru sacrifices section at their local Altars'R'Us, there wouldn't have been a problem...
that must have been a lumpy dinner.

Did they do this sacrafice on the runway. Would make a great delay anouncement.
