Well, Matt (Head of Blitz) is an ex-accountant, Lilian (mother of PunkFish and an excellent demo and dancer in her own right) is another accountant.

However, I seem to remember that when I was still in the Ceroc Teacher Association seeing the emial list and a significant number of the teachers seemed to work for either Oracle or PWC consulting....... draw your own conclusions.

    and why are they good?

Just a few thoughts on why people from some professions may be good

Accountants - rich, can afford to go to any and all workshops
    Lawyers - as per accountants
Teachers - so much free time that they can use to practice
Scientists - clever people, have no problem working out how to dance well

But the best dancers don't come from any particular profession - they are just the ones who learnt to dance at the age of 5 instead of waiting until they became adults.

    Grant
PS. Expecting howls of outrage from the accountants and lawyers who think they are as clever as any scientist.
And from teachers who don't think they have plenty of free time.

It had to be an accountant cos that what Nigel did for a living.

I think? VIktor was also doing that as well or something but then I could be wrong.

Age is a question of mind over matter, if you don't mind, it doesn't matter
    Leroy (Satchel) Paige (1906-1982)

Mickey Mouse's girlfriend, Minnie, made her film debut, along with Mickey, in "Steamboat Willie" on November 18, 1928.
That date is recognized as her official birthday.

I'm sure that Minnie actually meant you Kate, not me!!

My ex-landlady is also both a lawyer and excellent dancer, though she's not seen around much anymore (Michelle).

Also of course, Carol Hatton (who competed with me at Blackpool 2 years ago (in the red shimmy dress), and at Beach Boogie) is also both a lawyer and fantastic dancer.

I'm sure that more will occur too

You are both right - Jules was a psychologist, but she's requalifying as a lawyer (unless she's seen sense and changed her mind! )
