Who makes the best dancer?
Does a job affect dancing ..... either because you are in a boring job and dancing is your release or you are in a wild job and dancing enables you to wind down? Pick a career that in your experience seems to produce the best dancers (ive not included dance teachers, pick something else ) - only pick your own job if you can truthfully say that most of the best dancers you meet are also in that profession .
This is of course 100% serious and Franck may in future charge people in the 'lesser' jobs to enable them to post to the forum . After all, your comments would be less important .
(yes I meant to put in more jobs but i pressed RETURN by accident and you cant edit the poll once its up.....Franck, help! )

By the same token, would those in 'greater' jobs get paid to share their words of wisdom and thoughts??
Did you vote twice?????Originally posted by Dave Hancock

Once for each of us???..
Can't believe IT hasn't figured out a way to get in behind the scenes and frig it, knowing they're not going to beat the Accountants ligitimately
You mean you're not getting paid already???Originally posted by Dave Hancock

I get bonuses for being naughty with CJ too....
I'm sure Trampie gets airmiles
How else did you think he was going to Oz??
Can't believe you missed out, "Muso?!?!?!?!!!"
Now don't be silly, DS said you couldn't vote for yourself and your own profession, although most of the accountants I've danced with are awfully goodOriginally posted by Chicklet

I must be one of those accountants who get underpaid as not many pennies, and even less after next Tuesday when I leave my jobOriginally posted by Chicklet

I thought you were going to accept my offer and come and sit beside me and pick up all the things I accidentally drop under the desk. I can go to £45 grand and can offer "CIMA Executive Support, CA" on the business cards.Originally posted by Dave Hancock

Lots of nice perks too.
Oh, has to be the vampire slayer. All that sneaking about, staking folk through the heart calls for nimble footwork, accuracy and not being frigthened of getting up close The garlic could be a slight downside!

But what does best dancers means?
Technical perfection?
Surely the more you practice the better you became technically.
Are we talking about emotion?
That only depends from the kind of person you are, how expressive you are and the mood you are in during a particular night. Maybe people used to express their emotions (or even fake ones! ) like actors are better at it but even then that is very subjective.
Musical interpretation?
Don't think you can say there are a wrong and a right way of interpreting music. Everybody "feels" the music in a different way; even different musicians have different interpretations of the same song. (Extreme case: look at Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics and Marilyn Manson!!)
To cut the story short, I don't think there is any connection between your job and how you dance!
The accountant thing may be a bit tongue in cheek but I think there may be some truth behind it.
I was lucky enough to dance with Gus a few months ago (apparently he's an accountant) and he was brilliant.
Also I've just been to the Anzac Ball and I saw Nigel for the first time and he was incredible. I was told he is an accountant as well.
This may just be co-incidence. Does anyone else have any theories?
For all it's meant to be a non-manual profession I would have to also say that most of the ones I've danced with are pretty good with their hands too.....(and their knees I suppose).Originally posted by Dave Hancock

Think the perks require an expansion, been offered some attractive packages of lateOriginally posted by Chicklet

Yeah, think you are right in that accountants are incredible dancers. Accoutants are actually tremendous at most things they put their minds to and the reputation they sometimes earn as being boring generally are only directed at them from those people who are jealous of themOriginally posted by Sarah B
