Fever - Starsailor
Thanks for the link to Pandora guys.
Mos def - Caldonia
Fever - Starsailor
Just got back from a one week stay in hospital so wasn't listening to any music at all.
I was, however, singing, to the bemusement of my fellow inmates.
Lonely is a man without love - Engelbert Humperdinck
Rehab - Amy Winehouse
Crazy little thing called love - more the Buble version
Jacky - Jacques Brel, but as sung by Scott Walker
Surely, as sung by you
Coldplay - Fix You
I watched a programme on E4 a few weeks back called Young At Heart about a group of pensioners in the US that tour singing - thing is they do rock rather than hymns! Stumbled across it while flicking channels and was riveted - incredibly moving at times (one of the few times I've shed a tear watching TV recently) and they did a version of this song that really pulled at the heart strings. Fabulous.
James Blunt - the Unrecorded Sessions
This is a compilation of tracks that didn't make it Back to Bedlam and as the title suggests, weren't recorded.
I know, so how did I get them ?
Morpheus.
Brel wrote the song in French; IIRC Scott Walker had a translation made into english, or may have translated it himself, so I was just trying to make clear that I was not singing it in the original French.
That would have been poncy...
PS I also sang Ariel by Dean Friedman.
Happy soul, ain't I?
Today my iTunes has been mostly paused on Your Body (Radio Edit) by Tom Novy.
Let your mind go and your body will follow. – Steve Martin, LA Story
Just finished
"The Lady Is A Tramp" - Buddy Greco
Just Started
"Save Me" -Aimee Mann
and coming up after that
"Pump It" - Black Eyed Peas
(don't you just love randomised play lists? )
I'm listening to the random snuffling coming from my nose.
It's actually dead musical.
"It's a Living thing" - ELO
Far too embarrassing, so I can't tell you what I'm listening to at the moment
It's 2 Unlimited isn't it!!!!
