OMG...! I just finished it... someone tells me he isn't dead and P will use his blood to regenerate him, right ? pleeeeeaaaaase...........
Anybody fancies some guesses at what's going to happen in serie 3?
I'm very curious about Angela Petrelli's character. Is it clear what ability (ies?) she has ? Some sort of mind thing ?
Is she the one who protects Sylar ? (i.e. picked him up after he was stabbed and injected him with the virus ?) Could she be his real mother ? (one of the character hinted in an interview that she has 3 child in the show, so the last one remains to be revealed).
Did she kill her husband ?
I expect we'll learn more about the other company members... Could it be that a scission occured and a secret counter-company was formed (with double agents) ?
Is Nikki dead ? It seemed pretty clear she was, but then her face is shown in the trailer for serie 3...
Will Mohinder show some ability himself ?
so many questions...
Hehe, It's back.
I've just watched the first 2 episodes of series 3, and I personally think they're a big improvement over series 2. They're faster paced, and we see more of the old characters I liked. I also like the concept of "Villains".
I think Caro's going to enjoy seeing the answers to some of her questions. (Or are they the answers? )
Shame about Peter, though. I liked him in Series 1 - he was a sympathetic character. He was overplayed in S2, and sadly S3 carries on in the same way, IMHO. He changed when he cut his fringe, I think.
I don't understand! Can you guys not travel through time?
It's to be shown on BBC on 1st October, 9pm on BBC 2, with episode 2 following straight after on BBC3.
(Of course, some of us don't have the willpower to wait that long... )
For those like me who want to watch in HD, only the BBC3 showings are simulcast with BBC HD so that means that Ep 1 will not be shown in HD on Wednesday. It is being repeated on 5 Oct though. I'll be recording the episodes and watching them from the 6th of October (some of us do have will power)
Absolutely loved series one then managed to only watch one episode of the second series. I gather it was generally a bit pants and can to all intents and purposes now be ignored, writers having apologised etc.
Looking forward to watching series 3, as if series 2 had never happened.
It's well into series 3 now on BBC so what do people think?
In my view this series seems right back on track. It's exciting and pacey with lots of plot twists and great special effects. It also all seems to kind of knit together really well with plenty of interaction between all the heroes and an involving series of plot lines. There's also been plenty of cool cinematic moments to enjoy. Yep, for me Heroes is right back up there as one of the best TV series ever.
S2 was a great series, and yes you do need to watch it to find out a bit about some characters in s3 - but it also points out the flaws in s3.
Not at all, it is far far better than s3 so far - but i've only seen 10 episodes of s3 In S2, the plot line with Sylar is some of the best TV I've seen in years. It was only the "Peter becomes an imbecile" plotline that grated a bit.
Strange ? should you not judge for yourself ? don't you want to know who Adam Monroe is ?Looking forward to watching series 3, as if series 2 had never happened.
Its pretty good, but has nowhere near the promise s2 had. Feels like new, and less experienced, writers to me. If only S2 had been a full season rather than 11 episodes. In S3. the "Sylars power makes him evil" plotline, going completely against the s2 evidence is especially annoying. Noah has become an underused "oh he was popular" recognisable face with crap lines. Suresh has become a mad scientist involved in the ineptly executed and so far stupid "oh lets think of an alternative to removing powers - oh how about giving them to all (ooh wow you're a genius Nigel lets run with it)". There are still bits that make it good - Hiro and Ando are still good and Hiro remains appealing as a 10 year old, Claire is still giving it a go in every scene (and i really want to find out why she is "bad Claire" in the future). Daphne is great, as is Parkman, and their relationship shows promise. Overall - maybe 6/10 but I'm hoping tying plot lines together will be satisfying.
