Talk about behind the times I just finished watching series 1 of Heroes after recording all of them to my PVR as they were screened on BBC2/3 and finally starting to watch them last weekend. I really enjoyed the series but was gutted to find I had not recorded the last episode forcing me to delve into the web for a rip of it which eventually I managed to find http links for (I can't seem to get limewire to download torrents for me though it will get single files that I search for OK). Anyone else willing to share with me their methods for getting hold of the US shows as they are aired over there? Use PM if you prefer.

i use Torrents Search Engine for the search and follow the links to the actual site hosting the torrent file. I also use Opera for all of this including the actual torrent downloads - no hassle then.

Mostly I use Bittorrent - seedpeer.com to find the torrents, then Azeurus to grab them (great Mac Bittorrent client). Although for Heroes, I'll often use the got-heroes.com forum, which posts direct download links.

Myself - I was somewhat disappointed. They were hampered somewhat by the writers' strike though - and the result was that (I felt) the first 2/3 of the series is very slow (similar to series 1), then they kicked it into gear for the last few episodes, which had to be rushed because of the impending strike. The series only being half the length of the first.

*wonders if any of that made sense*
Anyway - I've transferred my loyalty to Dexter now. So fickle...

iv seen the new series on downloads and really liked it. Although watch out for the dodgy irish accents on the first episode - dont think those actors have ever been near ireland!

Its airing now - due to the writes strike, it was only 11 episodes and its not quite as good as Series 1. Peter Petrelli is an idiot for most of it, which is annoying. Sylar though, is a triumph, and the reason I kept watching .

check the details @ Heroes (TV series - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

    series 3 starts in September.

But why does it have to be on on Thursdays? Do these people have no respect for our dancing commitments?!
