Ooops, I forgot to put on the picture of my birthday cake.
Thanks to Sparkles and her magic hands, It was a lovely surprise, thank you Sarah. The authenticity of the fur was amazing. (Pictured below)
You were certainly missed.
To think I got told off for making too much noise, when it was all your fault. By Rob D of all people!! Not complaining about how you made me laugh though!
Thats how rumours start!
Do you realise how honoured you are! I didn't share him with anyone else.Originally Posted by WittyBird

I think he was the highlight of my weekend, i love finding new discoveries.
I had a great time socially this weekend but my dancing was rather marred by the fact that i slightly twisted my ankle 3 hours after arriving. So i couldn't really get into it on sat night as i was worried about damaging it too much. Sunday was a far better night though as the pain killers kicked in and i forgot about it. I enjoyed most of the music this weekend and surprisingly seemed to have more fun dancing in the main room to the faster stuff.
Made a few new friends too which is always a big bonus.

Rob, SSssssshhhhhh.
What's the matter with you two today?
Oi, you too. Sshhhhhhhhhh!
Can't we just brush the subject under the carpet!
Were there any friction burns, makes me wonder how she missed something so big. But thinking about it she didn't, she got the floor.
She's used to rolling around on the floor - just ask Captain Fantastic after Saturday night in the bar
Well, I agree. Sunday night was fab! Didn't move from the blues room. But sad as I had to go home at 3! So that counts me out of the 'after 4' experience lol
Fab dances....can't tell you how much I didn't want to miss out and drive home!
Was so nice to be able to get to some of you men who had eluded us for the rest of the weekend.
I do not usually post on the forum but I think that I am the only person in this instance that can give a straight answer to certain points raised so far:
1. The Free tickets. I can only conclude that the person who wrote this must have ulterior motives to do so, otherwise, please name names rather than posting nonsense. I DO NOT ISSUE FREE TICKETS to anyone, excluding staff and their spouses/boyfriends/girlfriends.
2. The portable floor (by the bar upstairs & blues room downstairs). As announced at the end of the cabaret, the existing one will not be used again and will be replaced by a new one the next time round.
3. The ventilation units. It has been said that there were only 3 in the main venue. In fact there were 8 upstairs, as per agreed contract with Pontin's. In the lower venue there was in fact cold outside air ventilated through all the grids provided above the bar counter. Never the less, I agree that the venues get very hot and that the ventilation units can barely cope. This however, is not a problem of how many ventilators there are, given that the extra numbers of ventilators at a competitor's event have not helped resolving the problem either, the cooling of the venues require a cooling system that can not be of a portable nature and that I am unfortunately currently unable to provide.
4. Early check-in on Thursday with 30 customers only. In fact there were 150+ customers taking advantage of this offer. We shall see if my competitors will also copy this "bad idea" into their events together with all my other "bad ideas" that have already been copied before.
5. The colour brochure & timetable, free mugs and free water bottle available at my competitors’ events. Whilst I clearly do not sell £ 29 tickets for budget apartments to be shared with strangers, other than that, my published prices are in fact on average the CHEAPEST on the market and have remained unchanged for 4 years running. No doubt I could give out mugs, water bottle and coloured flyers to all if I was to charge more. It has also to be noted that I am concentrating money and effort on the event itself, rather than the embellishments. Hence the investment on a new dance floor, check-in on Thursday night, check-in any time on Friday (providing the fastest check-in around compared to all my competitors) and a third room with "non-partnered" workshops as available at Camber on the event just gone and which, no doubt, will soon be copied and embellished by those concerned.
No point in commenting on all the positive feedback posted so far and for which I am naturally grateful for.
As always, if anyone requires more direct and personal responses, please feel free to e-mail me directly. Please be assured that I am doing my level best for these events.
