    I posted this.

    Then went and bought it!

7 weeks later, I have 4 chars. Just hit level 40 with my first. And 2 more in the 30's.

    Sleep? I vaguely remember that....

    And as for university....

Well done! I'm impressed you've levelled that many characters so quickly. It took me ages to get my "main" to level 35. Now that has been surpassed by my other character thats now 37.

What server(s) are your characters on? And what names?

Darkspear server: Winifred (Female Night Elf Hunter)
Eonar server: Fredpal (Male Human Paladin)

    Re: World of Warcraft

I played the trail over xmas and managed a 13th level night elf, but found WoW a bit dull, far too much repetition to get up levels although the fighting system was ok. I did buy guildwars and occasionally play that, the graphics are far superior to WoW

    Re: World of Warcraft

    I'm on Lightbringer.

    My main chars are:

    TheTramp (level 40 human warrior)
    Trampette (level 32 gnome mage)
    Trampy (level 35 nightelf hunter)

There might be a theme going there with the names

Don't be impressed though. Be sad for the life I used to have!

Finally got my computer out of the dark ages, so might actually start being able to have a go at WoW soon (much to Rob's disgust - I think he's worried he'll lose me in cyberspace )!

Don't do it! ESG didn't take his own advice and where is he now! Living with Tessalicious in some computerised world, killing peasants! Never to be seen again. We don't want to lose you to the same evil world!

Lol! Lots of WoW addicts here...

I've got a Lvl 54/55 (I can't remember NE Hunter on Terenas (PvE), and a Lvl 20ish Warrior on Agamaggan (PvP). I go through fits and starts with the game - play solid for a while, then go cold-turkey. It's not got a fantastic amount of depth to it - just a grindathon after a while. Still, despite that it is excellent fun.

Anyone up for starting new characters on a jointly-selected server and founding the Ceroc guild...?

Would be much cheaper for everybody if we played Guild Wars instead - £20 for the game and no monthly fee

    Re: World of Warcraft

We'll need to see if people fancy PvP or PvE, Horde or Alliance. It would probably be good for folks to start in the same zone too - that way, we can level like lightning.

    Thoughts?

That may well be true. Go start a Guild Wars thread and discuss that there!

Tessalicious, ESG and myself are currently on Lightbringer. Seems to work fine. Could do it there. Or somewhere else if anyone has a different preference...

You think you're clever being logical and correct, but you're not

I know I've not played before and would probably be more of a burden than a help, but please don't start without me

Not really - it is incredibly easy to pick up.
