thing is that i tend to not be footed i step off on or back on different feet everytime. So how many more steps do you think we take on one foot over the other??
I wouldn't claim my answer is correct - just that it's an answer.
That said, I think you'll find *most* people when they get up to walk will push-off first with their dominant leg...
I think my answer is weaker in what happens at the end of the walk – perhaps you're more likely to take an extra step to make "even" walks much more likely.

No idea and it would hurt my brain to think about it too much....
However, it is likely that you cover more ground stepping with one or other foot as most of us have a slight twist in our pelvis which, combined with a tightness in one hip makes one leg shorter (or longer!) than the other. Anyone who is more comfortable sitting with legs crossed probably has this.
