    Room 101

OK, it's time to identify of all your pet hates!

So, if you can't stand triffids or traffic wardens, pizzas or plastic wheelie bins, Tony Blair or the Taliban, now you have the very place in which to vent your anger and frustration by dumping them into room 101, never to be seen again.

I'll start the ball rolling with some of the things I wish I'd never heard of and could quite happily live without.

    Avacado pears

Telephone cords that have kinks in them

    Celery

    manchester united

    Barbara Cartland

There, I feel so much better now that I've eradicated these hated things from my life forever. No doubt I've forgotten some other annoyances but I can always revisit and obliterate those things at a later date.

So, over to the forum members, what do you want to annihilate, get rid of or just plain forget?

I hate people that get 'road rage' I spend so much time on the road I would be a nervous wreck if I got upset each time someone made a mistake.

    I hate bad manners.

I hate 'hot shots' and by this I mean people off all abilities and venues which have a problem with dancing below there level, we all need people to bring us on, well most of us.

I would put football and all the loutish behaviour that goes with it into room 101
(on a more controversial note religion would be in there too..but won't talk bout that!)

    Just don't get me started....

However, I'm not up to ranting this evening... due to number one on my personal list, which is: coping with the after effects of too much Vino Collapso. Blech.

I think it was the "vodka cherryade" that did it.

Hey, another one for my list!

Here's a good one...my friend uses innocent smoothies with vodka or rum..instant cocktail, can't bring himself to do it to the innocent detox smoothie. Prob would be good. Apparently the bannana and coconut one is like pina colada.

just thought of a couple more

    I hate bullies

I hate people that say they are going to do something and then don't, unless there is a very good reason not to

    Re: Room 101

    Okay... for starters....

    1. Having a sore throat and an earache (got both threatening now - gits).

    2. Ginsters pasties - too much salt, too much pepper, sod all else; disgusting.

    3. Litter. Especially people who drop their garbage on the floor and then say: "I pay my poll tax!" (or whatever) like that makes it ok then....

    4. Crap drivers. Especially the ones who drive right up my arse (so to speak) in an attempt to intimidate me - waste of time as I just drop down to 27mph and grin at them via the rear view mirror.

    5. People with no manners, especially people who don't say thank you when you hold open a door for them. Which has led me to chunter loudly along the lines of: "Yes, as you can see I'm dressed like a doorman!", etc.

    6. Teenagers with attitude problems, especially the ones who write poetry or go on about "respect". Get over it.

    7. Westlife.

    8. My idiot neighbours.

    9. Seafood... rubber band with salt on... spot the difference.

    10. Cruelty to animals; poor animal husbandry; people with no respect for wildlife or their environment (see 3).

    11. Being patronised. Gets me every time.

    12. Skirt sizing - I want a new skirt, can I get one, can I heck. The waists are huge, the bums are tiny; it's industry catering for the transvestite market, imho. And they're either far too bloody long or they barely cover your backside. Pah.

    13. Arrogance. Unless it's justified, in which case it's sexy.

    14. Enclosed spaces - which covers lifts, tunnels, potholes, helmets, London Underground, the pantry at my parents' house and aeroplanes.

    15. Political correctness; whingeing; it always being someone else's fault.

    16. Text speak (see also 6, because they started it).

    17. Portaloos; camping in general.

    18. Aubergines - they look fabulous, but they taste like sick; disappointment writ large.

    19. Shoddy service in shops, restaurants, etc. etc. - the clue's in the name - service industry.

    20. Computers. Computers really hack me off.

No no.. I couldn't stand that! You'd be making all the geeks like me unemployed

(I'm just wondering.. could you put room 101 into room 101? thereby setting up a recursive loop that would destabilise the universe?)

Don't know - but I do know one thing that you cannot put into Room 101.
