There's Ceroc Surrey's New Year's Eve Party at the HG Wells in Woking, on the 31st, obviously. Great venue.

I know Woking and Daventry are a way apart, but if you're staying in London then you could do the Ashtons B&W on the Wednesday, Daventry on the Friday, Chiswick on the Saturday then Woking on the Sunday.

    You're on - but only if you don't call it a Ball / Chillout / Post-Xmas something-or-other.

Ok, that sounds like a plan (minus the B&W on the Wednesday, as that's just pushing it )

So Daventry, Chiswick, Woking and then home again and seeing as I'm being lazy..........are Chiswick and Woking also ticket only?

And people wonder why there's a debt crisis in this country!

At the risk of de-railing this thread…

I sent the link to the NYE party at Ealing to my non-forum friend. She quite fancies it, but is concerned that this is not a Ceroc but a jive party, and that the dancing will somehow be different. I’ve tried telling her that I don’t think it will be, but not having been to any of their events, my opinion isn’t holding much weight… So, will she recognise the moves?

*Disclaimer: the writer of this post is so used to having dance moves thrown at her that she doesn’t recognise (particularly after some fab dances with FirstMove over the weekend ) that she doesn’t give a toss! Enquiries are strictly for non-forum friend’s benefit.

Only if she starts going to Ealing regularly because it's the little Alien men that fly down in spaceratti banana jets that teach, so all the moves are advanced in space age. Really takes lots of practice and determination to master even possibly light years.

Jilly hasn't made her mind up who the guest DJ's are @ Berko over Xmas & New Year wouldn't it be great to have OXO's there!

If you're planning on going to Berko NYE maybe it's time to say who you'd like to DJ to give Jilly an idea of who to get Im sure she'd listen to the opinions

Absolutely, he gets my vote as well!! OXO is a brilliant dj - I know there were really good comments about his music when he was covering for Marc at Berko the other weekend. It would be fantastic to see him there again, and I know Marc would agree.

Oh yes OXO gets my vote. He did a great job of standing in for Marc last month in the blues room....and that really isn't an easy thing to do.

    Great bloke too.

Not that I'd vote, polls being Evil and all. But if I did. But I didn't. Or something.
