Thunderbird
Having got fed up with Outlook I set up Thunderbird.
The template I used all yesterday worked fine but not today. It appears to be looking for some previous template that I can not see or cancel.
Tried downloading an add on to create and launch templates but they appear as ZPI files which you convert to Zip.
It is not clear where you have to place these unzipped files in the Mozilla File tree for the add on to be accessible in the tools menu?
Wasted 90 mins so far with still no chance of a template being saved for re use.
Please note it all worked fine originally.
Any guidance? pse

Re: Thunderbird
How to Install in Thunderbird
after downloading the addon
1. In Mozilla Thunderbird, open Add-ons from the Tools menu.
2. Click the Install button, and locate/select the file you downloaded and click "OK".

Re: Thunderbird
the downloaded file does not appear in that add on because
once you have unzipped it you have several directories and other files sitting on your desk top. you have to place these somewhere in Thunderbird so that they can be seen by the add on process. The question is where?

Re: Thunderbird
