Ding! Ding! We Have a Winner !!!
I was at the Salsa & Jive combined weekender at Brean Sands this weekend. Entered the Jive competition at the last moment just for a laugh. Previously I had been watching the jive masters in practice in the other room and it looked good.
Entered it with my mate Naomi and we won 1st !

And the funny thing was, Naomi then entered the Salsa competition with some random chap and then got first in that too !
I was over the moon as I had only *just* made it out that night as I had bad tummy problems and could barely walk about an hour before the compo. Also suffering withdrawal symptoms as I had forgotten to bring my twice daily medication with me over the weekend. Doh!!!

I've met Naomi at Southport and enjoyed dancing with her – she's a really good dancer. :respect:

Yeah, Naomi is an amazing dancer. She was getting credits from loads of people all weekend.
I'll be at Southport in Feb. Whats going on in Blackpool in March? :confused:

Owww.... a nice big competition type thing. Probably give it a miss though as I dont normally do compos. Prefer casual dancing and dont like the pressure. Only entered this one cos I was there and it seemed like a laugh.
