google maps - dates

Does anyone know how to find out when satellite pictures on google maps were taken?
They make great aerial shots and I'm tempted to use them for some work stuff but would really need to know when the images are from - same for the ones on the google streetview system.

I've tried right-clicking and can't see anything obvious...(though it might just be me)

I can tell you the exact moment the picture of my house was taken.... I'm in the front garden, mowing the lawn :sick:

Hmmm, thankfully I can't be seen in my streetview pic - buy my tulips look lovely :D
