And a big fat notice, to say we can't use them until the 1st of Oct :confused:
I've still been using the 'one' we had, up till last week, when it decided to pack up half way through :what: I don't think it was me
I've only been using it to stretch and cool down on, after 'other' exercising. But I might join a few of the group training sessions, just to see what they're all about!
In the mean time, the new talk is about introducing THIS
Now I have to say, this looks good! :waycool:
I just wonder if it'll be another 8months!
Re: Power-plate: does it work ?
I have a nickname for The Power Plate at my gym. I call it The Fat Bird Machine. It only seems to be used by overweight, unfit women who are too lazy / incapable to exercise properly. Am I being harsh?
Daisy
(A Fit Little Flower)
PS I should just like to add that I have seen Lory and she isn't a Fat Bird. (I still think this is a sodding awful machine that should be banished to the car park).

Not really.. anyone who thinks they're going to loose weight and get fit by using this alone, is very naive indeed!
I think more people use it to do their stretches, at my gym, like me!
Although there is one REALLY fat guy, who goes on it regularly and I never see him on anything else but maybe I only notice him on the plate because his weight makes the whole gym floor vibrate :lol:
