- Finally, do the referees have trouble stopping play when the player is facing away from them?
It is fine for you to ask :D as lots of people always wonder.
1) Yes people do cheer, just waving their arms and when there is a goal, jumping around, punching the air .
2) yes they are more observant, they tend to watch other players plus the ball.
3) the referees dont have trouble as when someone notices that referee stop and is waving his arm, the player usually let everyone know ie spread the word. so everyone stops or players keep an eye on the referee.
we do have a scotland team, england team, GB team, 4 clubs in Scotland, England too many, Edinburgh DFC be playing against Belfast DFC in British Cup so be going over there in october!

But you can also get tickets on the door - does this mean, potentially, that you could turn up and be turned away on the night if you wanted to buy your ticket on the door and the gender balance was not in your favour?
And if it doesn't, then how is the gender balance going to be managed?
If people pull their finger out and buy tickets in advance then no problem at all. :D
But going from experience most people leave it to the last minute, so as far as managing it - it is a nightmare
I normally get lots of phone calls Saturday afternoon and have to tell everyone to bring a man (or 2) if they want to get in. It was more luck than judgement that numbers were evenish at our last Slinkys - will re-consider doing the gender balancing next year.
Hope that help answer your question

I think so thanks - basically it's a bit ad hoc, headache for you and yes, you might not get in as a girlie. Doesn't matter now as that friend isn't coming, but my other friend (whom I recruited for you  ) is coming and it'll be her first freestyle I think
Am very much looking forward to it. :nice:

Excellent - I get to meet you guys at last! Will you be wearing the tea cosy so I can ID you?
Not sure about parking exactly where the GDA is, but I've been to the community centre where the classes and normal freestyles are held often enough, which is just around the corner looking at the map, and many of the streets round there are fine to park in for non-residents after 6pm. Can anyone be more specific?
No need to book for the boat, but do turn up in time if you want the cake... :yum:

Heh, I've just realised, if I made this poll private, no-one would be able see who's going where.
Just one click of a button, mwa hahahahaha....

- :devil:I have listened to a lot of managers and got the impression that most footballers were deaf.
