Hopefully, I'll see you there.:flower: After such a depressing night at Stockport on Saturday, I'm really looking forward to it.

I should quallify the above. Had some great dances, but the music and acoustics were absolutely abysmal.

Come on Paul, not seen you for ages, get your bot up to knutsford.
We start at 8pm then at 10 we have the all girl Troupe RVSD on, prior to their competing in London, they have also appeared at the Opera House Manchester. Not necessarily Jive, but very good & a little bit different. Not that this should influence you, but they are all very pretty
We then have freestyle back on again until midnight, with complimentary Tea, Coffee & Cake, from 11.30.
And to top it all, much more Latin, Blues & more testing music for those who really enjoy dancing.

So what do you think?

I'm going to

Coventry on Friday
Going to Coventry or being sent?... I'll be in Taunton

Knutsford on Saturday
I think I will have to limit my 200 mile each way Saturday evenings... And Stockport was bad for my ears (my partner was actually wearing earplugs!)

Saturday afternoon I'll be at Jive+ Oxford (Drops workshop with John Sweeney) followed by Jon Brett freestyle in the evening. Rover Club, Cowley. Only been once, but it was good.

Bromsgrove 't' dance on Sunday
By a curious coincidence, Bromsgrove seems to be connected to Oxford by the M40... Fancy some Tea and Sympathy? Where's the venue exactly?

I had some lovely dances with a Latin looking guy called Steve who I was told had won some champs or other?? sorry, that all I know, but he was good.:worthy:

Nice pics Fletch, its almost like I was there! I might just try that one of you and Ian as my desktop. Glad that being sent to Coventry turned out so well for you.

It was my first freestyle at Riviera Leroc in Taunton. Very nice fun crowd, Gary plays a good balance of music. I danced with a group of beginners, (though not all at the same time like your Steve I'm afraid). One of them said "no"! I said "too tired or too scared?" She said "Both!" But we had a lovely dance later, her friend and I were very persuasive.

So at Bromsgrove, I'll be looking out for a tall blond lady rapidly receding into the distance then?

Mustn't be late for Oxford, leave in about an hour!

Have a good one at Oxford love to all there :flower:

I like your style about the refusal...it reminds me of a story ....when I wen't to Hammersmith for the first time and asked a guy sitting on the stage...you know the type.....HOTSHOT ......and he refused me ....well I won't go into to much detail but he danced with me in the end ....I think he thought that was the only way to get rid of me......wrong again :na:

If you wan't a photo for you desk top you only have to ask

I'm going to a Ceroc NI freestyle this Saturday! :clap:And I was a woman with a mission - to dance with every man in the room. It took me from 9:30 - 11:30pm but I achieved it! And yes, I asked for every single one of those dances (to be fair it would have been difficult for many to ask me to dance, I wasn't off the floor very much!).
