Help!

Looking for some inside knowledge from the locals pretty please – anyone able to direct me to a decent B&B/hotel/motel with in walking distance of the Brunton Hall in Musselburgh as I will be car-less

Cheap and cheerful is all I’m after and if anyone interested in sharing to keep the cost down a bit – just let me know

Thanks in advance :flower:

I checked on line this morning and you can still get into the PremierTravelinns at Inveresk and Newcraighall, or the Travelodge at Musselburgh, bookings via
www.premiertravelinn.com
and
www.travelodge.co.uk

They each cost £54/night but you can squeeze up to 4 people into each room (if you're all close friends! ) - you'll probably find someone else to share if you go ahead and book, as there's always someone leaves it til the last minute to book accommodation, and it's then a seller's market!

I'm also sure there will be lots of carloads going to and from these motels and the Brunton Hall, so you wouldn't have to walk, but it's less than 3 miles anyway - not so bad (unless you're carrying your DJ equipment)!

No DJ equipment for the comps - just me and all my comp gear which can be nearly as much

Intresting I would have thought there would lots of space as the Festival will have ended, maybe a lot of participants have booked there.

I'm sure there are still plenty of rooms around a bit further from the venue - I really wanted one within walking distance hate waiting for buses etc

Musselburgh is actually quite small so quite a few of them should be within walking distance
