Don't know if anyone is interested, but I thought I'd repost the following from the UK-Jive website...

---

Wall To Wall Television are looking for 50’s enthusiasts for a new TV programme they are making for BBC2. They are searching for volunteers who have their own 1950's clothing and are willing to appear on television!

The programme being filmed is a fictional biography of the life of 'Norman Stanley Fletcher', who was played by Ronnie Barker in 'Porridge'. The original writers and some of the original actors are working together to create Fletch’s life before and after his time in Slade Prison.

Fletch was a singer in a band during the 1950’s and you are needed to play the part of the audience at one of his gigs!

It would be one days filming (probably a Saturday) between April 28th and May 10th, the exact date is yet to be confirmed.

If you are interested (or know anyone else who might fit the bill) and are available during these dates CALL!

OK... Got some more info.

Filming will be in London. Approx 20 people required (must have their own 50's gear). Travel expenses will be paid within reason, but will need to be negotiated & agreed. Food & drink provided throughout the day.

Hiya

So, last time I did a days filming (for Spygame (Robert Redford / Brad Pitt)), they provided the costumes, and the food. And we also got paid about £120 for the day.

I take it that they aren't paying the people this time? :tears:

Ooo you name-dropper!

I get the vibe this is probably running on a slightly lower budget (having to supply your own 50's gear)...

BUT, there's still the chance to get your face on the telly! :waycool:
