For anyone looking to stay overnight in Stirling on Saturday 22nd July we have secured a special deal with the King Robert Hotel, Glasgow Road (and home of the Stirling Sunday Tea-dances).

Two people sharing a room, twin or double, Bed & Breakfast for £33 each.
Single occupancy is £56.

Two people sharing a room, twin or double, Bed & Breakfast for £33 each. Single occupancy is £56. On-line they quote "from £49" for a single room (http://www.kingroberthotel.co.uk/tariffs.asp)... I can't confirm this though, as I can't get their crazy on-line booking system to work. :confused:

Anyway, I've booked a room at the Golden Lion Hotel (http://www.thegoldenlionstirling.com/), which is 2-3 minutes' walk from the Albert Halls, rather than 2-3 miles... ;)

Although their web site quotes £119 pounds as their "standard rate", I managed to get a room for £60 from HotelClub (https://www.hotelclub.net/).

I'll be there for the Saturday night dance, and the tea dance on Sunday – hope to see you there! :)
