So after the success of the last big Daventry weekend, whose coming to the next one? The theme is Dirty Dancing (http://www.ceroccentral.com/cgi-bin/public/view.cgi?template=layouts/template.tpll&dis_pg=freestyles_list). The format's the same as the last one, with workshops throughout the day and freestyle till 3am and a Tdance on the sunday.
I can't wait.

Heck yeah - I'll give it a go.

Managed to book-up for the workshops on the Saturday but unfortunately the Sunday Cuban Blues workshop is already full for blokes (:tears:) so have been wait-listed for that one.

So, if any of you ladies out there were thinking about doing the blues workshop on the Sunday (see below) but haven't booked yet - please can you!

Style - Cuban Blues (with Marc & Rachel)
Sunday, 02 July 2006
Daventry Leisure Centre, Daventry
12pm to 2.30pm
For further enquiries or to book please contact emma@ceroccentral.com or 01327 311137 (wk) or 07734 910343 (m)

Hope to catch-up with some of you forumites that I met at BFG & Southport, and hopefully meet some new ones too.

Hmmmm...this'll be my furthest foray south yet for a dance party - hope it'll be a good un. (And BOY do I need to get out more often!)

Trying to round-up a few more of the Jocko Crew to come down as well.

We'll see how it goes.......

Looking forward to it!

Cheers,

:yeah: That would be a shame.

I could be worth the long distance travellers meeting up in Daventry in pub/restaurant with a widescreen TV, to watch the match. They could even have a celebratory meal together before the dancing starts.

There are showers in the leisure centre too just in case the match is exhausting and stressfull.

Just a thought.

The Foxy, the Easy, the Suxby, plus a handful of other select gorgeous folk will be gathering by Draycote Water at noon for some serious picniccing, sunbathing and all round relaxation.

This will be followed by a short drive to The Peppermill hostelry in Daventry for some big screen action as Svennis and the lads confirm that the only good thing to have come out of Portugal is a 1963 Quinta do Noval Vintage Port.

After the Portugeezers have been suitably dispatched we shall be dining at the Peppermill, imbibing ourselves with a few ice cold beverages as we swap tales of old.

Showers and a quick change courtesy of the lovely Lucy Locket and then it's off to the venue for some wholesale dancing, frotting and snogging.

Must say though i do think you'd be better going to Daventry Country Park
for the picnic! Draycote Water is up the road from my house and i don't think you'd want my laughing spoiling your picnic! Seriously, it makes more sense, as it's a 20 min drive between there and Daventry. Where as Daventry CP is in walking distance from the pub and dance venue.

Finally found the name of this pub. The Millhouse. Tables booked for 7pm for everyone concerned. If there are any others apparently not gorgeous enough to join in the other soiree, feel free to join us, we are open to all.

Will anyone mention the C word (not that one, the other one)?

Apologies to all that were coming to mine to watch the football. :flower: I have to cancel as my son has to have an operation tomorrow, so i will be spending all my time with him in hospital! I'm just hoping the operation isn't at 4pm cos the surgeons will be slightly distracted!!
I'm sure you can all manage to gatecrash the FES football party and have a fab time with the gorgeous ones.:D

Nothing too serious, but as a mum it's still my baby and a worry. An abcess has come up and become infected in the last couple of days. Sorry to those with queasy tummies.
