Holy God, that's a lot...

If you're counting MJC (it's just a day thing, yes?), then maybe you should add Twyford on the same day? And, hmmm, for that matter, other all-day events like the Swinging the Blues thing in Chiswick? Or maybe that's getting too complex...

 yes - you're right, I put MJC on there because it is traditionally known as a weekender - but not this year ........... then I thought if that is on the list I should put the Big Bang on it - now I'm thinking it was not really a good idea to add 'all day' events as it does get a my complicated :what:

But the Big Bang is on for the friday and sat. So surely that constitutes as a weekender. :flower:

 Bet you wish you'd never asked now, Minnie :D

Seriously, I see the problem - but if it's a 1-day event, I'd say list it with the other 1-day events, no matter what the history. A weekender should be at minimum 2 days.

Thank you Cruella, that is exactly why I started this thread - I would like to get a full and complete list for not only myself but for all to see - might add it to my list for all to see at any time too (will add telephone numbers when for my list)

True, but if the Big Bang IS a two day event and as the MJC usually is a weekenderr, maybe the list is OK as it stands

Have I missed any Scottish weekenders off please ?

Oh dear......... that's a shame, the week after Southport again :tears:

I would love to do this one, but back-to-back weekenders with 5hour journeys and three days without sleep is too much
