Thanks to everyone for your birthday wishes. This is the first chance I've had to reply - I've had such a busy week. My 12 year old daughter had an audition for a BBC TV programme on my birthday, so I spent the evening running her about. Thursday, I didn't see my own home from 8.20am until 9.30 pm due to a course at Uni after work and an EIS meeting . ( And folk think us teachers finish at 3.15!!!!)
I had a lovely day at school. Lots of presents and cards from friends at work and a "hymn practice" which actually turned out to be a presentation of some of my choir soloists receiving their silver medals won at the Dundee Schools Arts Festival,one of whom sang James Blunts " Your beautiful" in front of the whole school , dedicated to me for my work with the school choir, followed by a fabulous bouquet of roses and the entire school singing "Happy Birthday".
Good job the mascara was waterproof!!!!!:rofl:
