There also comes a point where travel time and cost makes things deeply unattractive. Funky lushes move to their Burnham venue means that it would now be a 2.5 hour drive on the motorway each way for us. The wear and tear and fuel at £1 a litre means that, with much regret, we will no longer be able to attend Funky lush.

We used to try and make a weekend of it in London by picking up a budget hotel room as a stopover point between west London events but these seems to have all but dried up as they have become more widely knowm.

Still the venue change makes life easier for those in the west of the country, so what is bad for one is good for someone else.

Didn't do Chesham in the end, I was feeling under the weather and it didn't seem worth the battle through BH traffic for only one and three quarter hours of freestyle.

Miss Conduct and I did do Funky Lush though which I thought was fantastic. Great venue, lovely dancers and a full 4 hours of freestyle to the most funky and lush music ever! :worthy: I was very very happy with that. Well done and thanks TWK and Divi and team. :cheers: :clap:

Special mention to Kev F who Tangoed me* :worthy: :drool: .

*The fact that I had been tangoed was proven by the fact that on the way home I had lost all powers of navigation (the simple choice of M4 London? or M4 Reading? truly baffled me :blush:)

Went to Funky Lush on saturday and had one of my best nights ever. The music was the best i've heard in ages. Some brilliant dancers there too. Will definately go there again.:respect:

Yesterday i went to Monday Meltdown and once again had a fab time. Loved the music! Had some fab dances. I did however have one little problem with my keys at the end of the evening. Strange how there seems to be a gravity problem around the Fox:whistle:
